Everything is made of energy Shaman energy healing can help eliminate many forms of suffering, both physical and emotional. Chronic illness -- chronic meaning “that which repeats itself” -- often holds us back and makes us feel stuck. Until we can work on the energetic level, everything else is just a band-aid. Shaman energy healing works at a level that promotes deep change, transforming the body, and creating a state that allows permanent healing to take place. When people get stuck in their “story” they hold on to old patterns. Dr. Bill facilitates the release of such lingering patterns. He shows people how to follow a new map. His work is rooted in ancient traditions of healing from South American cultures adapted to our modern lives. The healing process transforms, and allows the map of one’s life journey to reorganize itself. The healer helps facilitate the journey by freeing the space for things to flow, and helping to shed obstructions to obtain better clarity and enhance one’s way of life. As we clear these energetic obstructions, the body physically releases itself and allows for healing to take place.
Symptoms include a range of physical and emotional struggles. Some examples may be:
A sense of lack of fulfillmentPhysical pain: ie. chronic headaches
Emotional pain
Coping with suffering
Bad relationships that may include partners and jobs
Moving beyond death
Sadness
Discomfort
The practice of Shamanism is a series of healing techniques that help people move beyond the mind and body to a place of wellbeing and balance of mind, body, soul and spirit.
How does shaman energy work help to eliminate illness and suffering? Treatments vary for each patient. When it comes to physical illness that is not chronic, the healer will work in conjunction with a medical team. In this instance, the healer works on an energetic level, which informs the physical body and emotional wellbeing. To better understand the process of energy healing, consider the following metaphor. When a musician tunes his or her guitar, that musician needs to use a tool such as a tuning fork to get the perfect pitch. The Shaman healer functions as the tool, ‘tuning’ the patient to the natural rhythms of life. Dr. Bill tunes the body by syncing one’s energy to its natural rhythms, the rhythm of the earth, essentially allowing the body to listen to the healing. Energetically syncing the Chakras of the body to the rhythm of the earth is how the healing process takes place. The Chakras are points in the body where our energy fields are focused. Dr. Bill uses his hands to feel the rhythm and pulsing of the body’s energy. When out of alignment, this energy can feel like a bad record mixing on a turntable -- unstable and inconsistent. The healer is able to recognize these off-patterns and align the spine and Chakras with their natural rhythms. This, in turn, creates a sense of calm and allows the energetic and physical body to become unstuck and once again flow. This process allows the healer to clear the imprinting (old patterns) and tune the rhythms, therefore allowing the body to open and heal. When healing the energy body, also known as the luminous energy field, there are various techniques performed. There are many different processes applied in energy healing. For most of the below healing procedures it is likened to a massage or other form of relaxation / meditation. Dr. Bill facilitates the healing while the patient is lying down and uses a series of tools and techniques. A session begins by opening sacred space in order to create an environment that allows for the healing to occur. To open sacred space, Dr. Bill will call on the four directions, and the earth and sky. Techniques used to open sacred space as well perform the healing rituals may include shaking rattles, spraying spirit water, holding the back of the patients head and the use of stones and other sacred tools. Techniques may include any of the following:
