The place where the energy healer guides the patient is the place of ceremony and ritual. This is the space where the techniques for energetic healing exist. These processes allow us to open and access the energy body. To participate in ceremony is to access the energetics. The Shaman techniques, with respect to ceremony and ritual, act to shift the individual or collective energy field and restore balance. To engage in ceremony and ritual is to directly experience a connection to the energetic world and allow the wisdom from that experience to follow.

 

Altar Work

Dr. Bill helps clients create altars that honor their personal journeys. Altar work is specifically about honoring those things that have held or are holding patients back so that they can move forward. It is a way of respecting the person you are becoming.

People and experiences from the past, such as elders, can stifle a personal journey. An altar gives those things a space to exist so you don’t have to carry them with you.

Bands of Power

Energetic bands of power can be metaphorically installed by Dr. Bill to provide protection from the trials and tribulations of daily life.

Bee Blessing

The Bee Blessing connects people to the collective energy of ‘the community,’ the hive. It is a blessing that brings people together, invoking creativity and collaboration. The blessing is about oneness; the coming together of all people. It is about the ability for people to be who they are in the collective whole. It reconnects individuals to work on things that are greater than themselves. To be working in collaboration with others yields a state of harmony.

Dr. Bill performs the Bee Blessing with patients to reconnect them with the collective spirit.

The Bee Blessing was inspired and developed by Dr. Bill in collaboration with Wake and Kinlen Wheeler at Coba, the ancient Mayan site in the Yucatan.

Despacho

A Despacho is an individual or collective prayer bundle. It is a collection of elements that combine prayer and wisdom from all sources to be in balance. Dr. Bill will call on the wisdom and energies of the sacred sites to provide everything necessary for an individual or group’s highest potential. Despachos may be made from a collection of items found in one’s personal space. Using items that may be part of everyday life represents the energetics.

There are many different despachos one can do for many outcomes. This is a very powerful way to honor and bring life into balance.

Fire Ceremony

The fire ceremony is one of the most powerful ways to transform energy. The time when the veil between the spiritual and physical world is thinner and narrower - for example during a full moon - is a great occasion for the transformative experience of a fire ceremony.

Rites of Passage

There are many rites of passage in Shamanic Healing practice. Depending on an individual’s needs, Dr. Bill administers the various rites of passage to assist in the personal journey of continued connection on a deeper level. The Kawak rites are an example. This is the experience by which the Shaman opens the pathways that connect our heart with our intuition, allowing us to see with our heart and feel with our vision.
